Such flavour! New menu items have arrived… And they are bloody delicious. New Chicken Wings, San Choy Bow, the Short Rib and our favourite – the Chicken and Watermelon Burger. We’ve also got a new dessert coming on board – the Rum Banana Cream Pie, with an Oreo crust. Never forget, we always have specials, so keep an eye on our Facebook – they get posted there.
Summer is almost here and we’ve got a new drinks list… If you like your booze boozy, why not start with a Babylon Old Fashioned..? If you’re looking for something lighter it’s pretty hard to beat the Mojito Bombastic. We’ve also got the Spliffy Sloe Down (Sloe Gin, Rum, Apricot Jam, Lime), the Fruity Mi Stylee (Epsalon Tequila, Apricot Brandy, Mango, Lime, Soda) and a few others… Come in and try them. Every week Chris, our bartender, will be putting a special cocktail on… We’ll post it each week on Facebook.
…Speaking of Chris… He won a recent rum based cocktail competition in Sydney with his take on the Old Fashioned. It’s called the Calypso Fig Old Fashioned and it’s basically a fig and coffee version of the classic. It’s also a tastebud journey for your face. Ask him to make you one!
Our sauces are important to us, but we’ve never really told anyone about them. There will always be 3 sauces on your table, and if there’s not, ask for them! They are..:
Walkerswood Las Lick Jerk Sauce – We use this in cooking as well as a table sauce. Classic Jerk flavour!
Pickapeppa Gingery Mango Sauce – Tangy ginger spice. get dancing.
Walkerswood Jonkanoo Pepper Sauce – Seriously hot. Be careful!
